George Gerald Henderson was born on the 30 June 1862 . His father George Henderson is recorded as being a merchant. Henderson attended Glasgow University and in 1881 obtained his Bachelor of Science. He went on to graduate in 1884 with his Master of Arts, and in 1890 with his Doctor of Science. He obtained his Doctor of Laws in 1938 . In 1916 he was made a Fellow of the Royal Society. Henderson also was awarded a Honorary Doctor of Science from Belfast and a Honorary Doctor of Laws from St Andre...

These are Economic History lecture notes, possibly a lecturer's own notes. There are 6 notebooks within a slipcase. On the slipcase is written in pencil "Dr James Cunnison? Alec Macfie?" The identification of the author of these notes is not certain. There is one letter within volume 6 addressed to Dr Cunnison, but without a comparison of handwriting it has not possible to assign these notes to Dr Cunnison. References within the notes would indicate that they were written after 1924. ...
